DAY 1: MENDOZA
Arrival, reception at the airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.
DAY 2: MENDOZA
Breakfast. Half day excursion to Mountain High, up to Puente del Inca and Aconcagua Provincial Park to contemplate the highest mountain of America, almost 7000 meters. On the way you will cross the foothills and then stay in the Andes (6000 + m). At approximately 3 pm, have lunch in a typical winery in the area, with the Andes in the background and a lunch menu with 3 or 5 steps. Accommodation.
DAY 3: MENDOZA/SAN JUAN
Breakfast. Departure at 7 am to Valle Fértil, Province of San Juan. After traveling almost 400 kms, you will visit Ischigualasto Provincial Park, better known as the Valley of the Moon, which is a paleontological reserve of great unique wealth in the world and for that reason, it was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, in 2000. DAY 4: SAN JUAN/LA RIOJA
Breakfast. Departure to Talampaya National Park, also a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. In the morning, you will make the short journey to the walls in a 4×4. This excursion offers an experience that combines off-road adventure with the discovery of spectacular scenery, which highlights its immense walls over 150 meters. Then you will have lunch at Villa Unión, a beautiful small La Rioja village characterized by olive trees and colorful mountains. Accommodation.
DAY 5: LA RIOJA/CATAMARCA
Breakfast. In the morning, you will begin the trip towards Belén, Catamarca province. It will go a mountain road with amazing views of stunning deep red cliffs, crossing the Cuesta de Miranda. Then you will visit the town of Chilecito and where will have lunch. In the afternoon you will continue down the road to Belén, where walnut, grape and anise is grown, while the fauna is predominantly constituted by vicuñas and llamas. Moreover, the importance of local crafts should be recognized, mainly tissue because Belén is known as the “Cradle of Poncho”. Accommodation.
DAY 6: CATAMARCA
Breakfast. Departure to Antofagasta de la Sierra in the province of Catamarca. This day will begin the ascent to the Puna, plains located in the highlands in the middle of Andes, where it will reach 4000 meters. Accommodation.
DAY 7: CATAMARCA
Breakfast. Full day excursion in 4×4 footprint paths as there are no paved roads, towards the area of the Salar de Antofalla. You will visit the homonymous town and also meet three geysers or small lagoons of different colors called “Ojos del Campo” that are interconnected to each other and in the middle of Salar give it a spectacular setting, as each is a different color: the first is blue, second is black and one is orange. DAY 8: CATAMARCA
Breakfast. In the morning, you will visit in 4×4 field Pumice Stone, which resembles a sea rock or glacier white with pink surrounded by black sand ridges and volcanoes. Then you will visit the High Dunes, which are sand dunes in the desert of Antofagasta. In the afternoon, you will undertake the return to the city of Belén. Accommodation.
DAY 9: CATAMARCA/SALTA
Breakfast. Departure to Cafayate, Salta Province and capital of Torrontés wine. This small town is surrounded by the Andes mountains and beautiful landscapes of northern Argentina. Accommodation.
DAY 10: SALTA
Breakfast. Day at leisure. Accommodation.
DAY 11: SALTA
Breakfast. Departure to the city of Salta, crossing a majestic landscape and through the Quebrada de las Conchas, where you will visit the geological formations of the Devil’s Throat, the Colorados, the Amphitheatre, the Frog, among others. Accommodation.
DAY 12: SALTA
Breakfast. Morning at leisure. We recommend you visit on your own the Museum of High Altitude Archaeology which preserves, studies and disseminates the findings of the “Children of Llullaillaco” undoubtedly one of the most important archaeological discoveries of recent years. These three mummified children were found in March 1999, preserved by the cold, on top of Llullaillaco volcano, 6,700 meters high, with 146 items: a particular miniature world that accompanied them on their journey to the afterlife. Studies suggest that lived over 500 years ago, during the height of the Inca state, shortly before the arrival of the Spanish. The Museum presents a didactic way, and at the same time from a scientific view, this wonderful discovery that lets you view and understand a culture that still remains alive in much of Andean America. During the afternoon, City Tour. A tour around the places of greater attractive of the city: The Cathedral (1855) where Gral. Güemes, patriotic hero, rests; Cultural Center America, Historical Museum of the North (Town Council) with exhibitions of sacred art and rooms dedicated to old traditional families of Salta, “San Francisco” Church and, “San Bernardo” Convent, and the monument to General Güemes. You will ascend to “San Bernardo” Hill to enjoy the panoramic view of the city. Also you will visit to “Batalla de Salta” Monument (Battle of Salta)  and “20 de Febrero” Park (February 20th Park), you will go towards the outskirts and you will visit a summer village called “San Lorenzo”, characterized by the subtropical microclimate and lastly a visit the Artisan Market where craftsmen of the entire province expose their original crafts. DAY 13: SALTA/JUJUY
Breakfast. In the morning, you will travel the road that runs parallel to the Train to the Clouds, road to San Antonio of los Cobres. From this route, you will see the viaducts and the train ride. Then you will go to the province of Jujuy to Salinas Grandes, a sea salt at the foot of the Andes. From here, you descend some 70 kms to the village of Purmarmarca to continue travel over 20 minutes to stay in Tilcara. Accommodation.
DAY 14: JUJUY
Breakfast. Quebrada de Humahuaca. The tour leaves from Salta, but really begins once arrived to Purmamarca Village where time will be enough to observe the Seven Colored Hill, the Church and the Craft Market on the square, and a small walk along it´s narrow streets. We continue towards the town of Tilcara where we visit the Pucará (ancient ruins), the Archaeological Museum, and Huacalera, then we cross the Capricorn Tropic, from where the colors of La Pollera del Coya Hill can be seen and really good pictures taken because of the daylight. We visit Uquía and its church, where the paintings of the Arcabuceros Angels (important vestige in the zone of the Cuzqueña School) are kept. Arrival to Humahuaca will be at noon, this town has an important Church and the Independence Monument (the Indian) of the sculptor Soto Avendaño. After lunch we´ll observe, from the route, La Paleta del Pintor (Paintor´s Palette) framing the town of Maimara. We continue to San Salvador de Jujuy where the Flag Hall and the Cathedral, characterized by its pulpit carved in wood and gold and the statues of Lola Mora are visited. Finally, we return to Salta through National Route N° 9 of abundant subtropical vegetation. The last stretch is: El Abra of Santa Laura, observing La Cienaga (The Swamp) dam, Las Maderas and Campo Alegre and returning to Salta through Vaqueros. Accommodation.
DAY 15: JUJUY/SALTA/EL CALAFATE
Breakfast. Transfer to airport in Salta. Flight Salta/El Calafate (via Buenos Aires). Arrival, reception and transfer to hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 16: EL CALAFATE
Breakfast. Perito Moreno Glacier. Departure from the morning to travel the 80 kms, which is the distance between El Calafate and Perito Moreno Glacier, unique in the world constantly advancing. On the way, will visit beautiful places of the Andean foothills, along the south shore of Lake Argentino. After crossing rivers and Mitre Sentinel, will reach the Brazo Rico to enter Glacier National Park. Bordering the Lago Rico, begin to spot the icebergs floating on the water until finally able to appreciate the full extent of this natural wonder that has been declared by the United Nations as a World Heritage Site. Accommodation.
DAY 17: EL CALAFATE/BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. Day at leisure and then transfer to airport. Flight El Calafate/Buenos Aires. Arrival, reception and transfer to hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 18: BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. During the morning, Sightseeing City Tour. This tour gives you the emotion of a multiple Buenos Aires. You will see the symbol of our city: the obelisk. You will visit different squares such as Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Congreso. Avenues like Corrientes, Mayo, 9 de Julio, among others. Historical neighbourhoods: La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat. Elegant neighbourhoods such as Palermo and Recoleta, and the most modern: Puerto Madero. Parks such as Lezama and Tres de Febrero. You will also visit financial and commercial areas and a Football Stadium. Afternoon at leisure. Accommodation.
DAY 19: BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. Day at leisure. Accommodation.
DAY 20: BUENOS AIRES/IGUAZÚ
Breakfast. Transfer to Jorge Newbery airport for flight to Iguazú, an area declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Arrival and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, visit the National Park Foz do Iguaçu to see the falls on the Brazilian side. Throughout nearly a thousand meters of footpaths and balconies, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the largest set of waterfalls in the world, with 275 jumps deployed in an arc of case three kilometers. Also, Dutty Free Shop. Accommodation.
DAY 21: IGUAZÚ
Breakfast. Full day visit to the Falls from the Argentine side, where will tour the Lower Circuit and Superior Circuit. You will travel by the Ecological Train and will visit the Devil’s Throat, the largest jump this site protected as a World Heritage Site and recently voted one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Then transfer to the airport of Foz do Iguazu and return flight.
