DAY 1: HANGA ROA
Arrival to Easter Island. Reception at the airport Mataveri with flower necklaces. Transfer to hotel in Hanga Roa. Accommodation.
DAY 2: HANGA ROA/MOAI ROUTE/ANAKENA BEACH/HANGA ROA
Full day tour visiting the Moai Route: Ahu Vaihu surrounded by moai are lying face down and Ahu Akahanga, where he was buried the first king of the island. Then visit to Rano Raraku, the most spectacular crater in the area, where once the statues were carved. You’ll see moai in various stages of construction, the largest of which still remains at the base of the quarry, with a length of 20 meters and a nearby 200 tons weight. DAY 3: HANGA ROA/RANO KAO VOLCANO/ORONGO/AHU AKIVI/HANGA ROA
Half day excursion visiting the Rano Kao, whose deep crater in an extensive freshwater lake covered with reeds formed. At the top of the crater, visit the Cultural Center of Orongo, where year after year the ceremony Bird Man or Tangata Manu is held. Here are more than 100 petroglyphs representing gods.
